An NSF inspection is a very detailed inspection of all components of a septic system. This also includes an interview with the current homeowner to determine what type of use the drain field is or will be receiving.  It is highly recommended that an NSF inspection be performed before you buy a home to determine the condition of the system or if any repairs are required.
